Common questions

My wheels are not appearing on my other devices

• Every device must be signed in to the same Apple Account, with iCloud Drive turned on.
• Sync runs over iCloud, so a device that has been offline updates when it next gets a connection.
• On Apple Watch, open the app once so it can fetch; the watch does not sync in the background while the app has never been opened.

Is the spin actually random?

Yes. The winner is chosen the moment you spin, using the system random number generator, and the wheel then travels to that result. The animation cannot change the outcome — a dropped frame, a locked screen or a slow device makes no difference to who wins.

Can I use it without the internet?

Yes. Every app works completely on its own and stores your wheels on the device. iCloud is only used to copy them between your own devices.

How do I remove someone once they have been picked?

Tap Remove Winner on the result card. That is how you draw a running order rather than picking the same name twice.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the wheels stored on that device. To clear the copy held in your iCloud account, delete the app from every device signed in to that account.
